Welcome to the Geoinformatics Forum Salzburg!

Linking Geovizualisation, Society & Learning

GI_Forum 2012 offers full-fledged, intertwined tracks on GIScience & Technology and Learning with a focus on geovisualization, society and learning, and their inter-relationship. We expect researchers from these two fields to interact closely and benefit from each other.

GI_Forum 2012 runs concurrently with the highly regarded German language conference on Applied Geoinformatics – AGIT, organised by the Centre for Geoinformatics – Z_GIS, University of Salzburg and the Institute for GIScience, Austrian Academy of Sciences.  The two symposia share the innovative AGIT EXPO exhibit and stimulating social events.
